Do I pay in New Zealand dollars or Australian dollars?
Teach International will accept payment from New Zealand residents who will be completing the in-class component and practice teaching in New Zealand in New Zealand dollars. Payment can be made by Credit card (1.95% surcharge applies) over the phone to Australian head office (free call 0800 832 243), online, or by direct deposit.
Are there any courses held in New Zealand?
Teach International offers its full range of courses; in-class components and practice teaching in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. You can complete the online component over the Internet anywhere in New Zealand then attend the in-class component and practice teaching hours at our Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch venues.
Is the course recognised by overseas employers?
Yes, all Teach International courses are internationally recognised by overseas employers and give you all the necessary skills to prepare you to teach English overseas.
Do I receive the same ongoing support even though I am in NZ?
Yes, as a Teach International graduate you have lifetime access to our online student centre and graduate network, and assistance with your job search process. Teach International staff are available on 0800 832 243 (free call) to assist with your questions as are your in-class trainers via e-mail.
